It certainly looks like everyone's starting to settle in their new surroundings. I'm surprised that some of them even took up jobs! Not that I'm complaining... my notes and books have never been tidier, it's a hell of a time saver. I bet Albert would be jealous if he knew how I lived. Or probably not. Then there's that new innkeeper, who's even got experience in paperwork! Can you believe my luck? ...I guess I shouldn't be too glad. These people surely wish they were rather home than here.

...Man, infinite worlds, huh? There must be all kinds of uniquely interesting people out there. Thousands, I bet.

That's right! Amazingly, their homeworld's clerical tasks aren't that different from ours. It's a funny world we live in... well, worlds, now.

She would if there were any. I'd like to keep some kind of record of all our visitors, but we really haven't had any new time travelers in the past few days. Perhaps the strange occurrences have come to an end...

Either way, I can attend to that paperwork for you. It would be easy, and would align with my interests.

Besides, cleaning the inn was a good distraction. How long has this place been, um, abandoned?

Hard to say! When I got here, Master Thomas was already running things even with a skeleton crew. Then this place got really crowded... but hasn't been again for many months now.

Gee, I still can't believe you're from another world!

I see. I found the inn guests history book, there were many people from different places. It reminds me of the castle I was working at.

When you see it, we aren't that different, are we?

Oh, so you've worked at castles previously! Good, good! I was hoping you could keep some kind of records of everyone arriving here... I don't like the idea of anyone slipping past me during these strange times - it could even help us solve this mystery!
