It appears that we have a few new arrivals. Welcome to those who I have not had the pleasure to meet with yet, and I look forward to becoming acquainted with you in the near future. My apologies to get straight to business, but I have yet another survey to conduct. As most of you are probably aware, the ball that Sir Caesar mentioned will be upon us soon, and Sir Caesar has been very generous in allocating funds to providing everybody with appropriate clothing.
If you could please give me the details of your desired outfit, I will pass them onto the tailor so that they will be ready for you by the day. It would be best if you were not too extravagant, but also specific lest you be disappointed when your vague descriptions turn out to be wildly different than what you had imagined.
If you are lacking ideas, the tailor has given me a few sketches of choice items of clothing that you may look at to help decide on an outfit. If you have any further questions, I would be happy to address them.
(( OOC: What are the ideas from the tailor, you ask?!

... SORRY NOT SORRY. I spent way too long searching for these... Feel free to submit any sketches or other pictures of your own for fun if you'd like! ))

I'll pass, thanks.

[ She nods, acknowledging his name. Now to the hard part... ]
I know that the idea of a ball is not a popular idea - I am not a fan, either, and neither were my comrades. Sir Caesar believes, however, that all should attend in order to boost economic, trade and quest prospects at the castle. It is supposed to be a display of talent.

Wait - talents? What kind of ball is this?

no subject
[because the only talents he knows are not appropriate for dance-ball settings!]

[ DOO DOO DOO, SKIRTING HER RESPONSIBILITIES! Hervey had been much easier to convince. ]

[ Hard habit to shake! ]

Agnes. Well met. Not surprised Caesar needs someone to keep him organized.

He is abhorrently messy sometimes.

Perhaps I could ask you some questions about the war sometime, then, if you remain here. I have been curious, but have been unsure of how to approach Sir Caesar.

[ YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE. ]
I was particularly interested in learning more about the opposition's strategist... I have not been able to gleam much.
no subject
Mm. Albert Silverberg. Not many know very much about him.

[ She looks incredibly shocked. ]
A relative of Sir Caesar's? And they were on opposing sides of the war?!
no subject
That's right. Brothers, I believe.
no subject
He has never mentioned this to me before... What happened to his brother after the war? Was he killed?
