EVENT: Iksay Harvest Festival

The day of the Harvest Festival has fallen upon Iksay, and the atmosphere has never felt more cheery for such an early noon. As one would expect of the traditional festival, extensive preparations have been made, and it's the first time in a long while that anyone has seen Iksay brimming with such energy ever since it got raided in that fateful surprise attack.

Upon entering the small village, one would immediately notice the colourful decorations, as well as the banquet in the town center. The sound of upbeat music can be heard louder with each step taken towards the festivities. The townspeople are friendly to outsiders, but watch out, you might get whisked away in an impromptu dance -- traditional Iksay folk dancers are known to swap partners on several occasions mid-song!

She did have a few hiccups mingling around crowds again after such a life, but I believe she got the hang of things quickly. She's quite lively, isn't she?

Believe me, there's nothing more I want right now than to just see her... I just don't want to move around too much in case we keep missing each other. Then again, knowing her, she's probably thinking the same thing... damn it!

Don't worry too much. There's an old saying that while stars appear stationary, they are destined to eventually come together.

Agh, it's a bit too soon to be talking about destiny again, isn't it? [ Recalling the last war with Luc, plus the visions that he heard about from Hugo. ]

Perhaps, but I can't deny supernatural things either, given what I've seen. [ Comes from a family who know how to summon Yuber, for starters. ]

So what do you think your destiny is, Miss Jeane? Is your soul mate somewhere among this crowd, today?

[Laughs] My soul mate? What makes you interested in something like?

Urk. Isn't that what you were alluding to, with "stars" and "destiny" and it applying to "other things"?

Oh yes. But for me? I don't think any commitment lifestyle is possible. Not every star gets as lucky.

Why not? Don't sell yourself short, now! I can think of at least twenty guys who'd be very interested in you. ...Ducks and kobolds included! [ His tone suggests that he's obviously kidding~ ]

Well geez, that's the kindest thing a polygamist has ever said to me.

[Gets a big laugh out of that.] I hope I didn't give you the wrong idea, little Caesar. It'd break my heart.
