EVENT: Iksay Harvest Festival

The day of the Harvest Festival has fallen upon Iksay, and the atmosphere has never felt more cheery for such an early noon. As one would expect of the traditional festival, extensive preparations have been made, and it's the first time in a long while that anyone has seen Iksay brimming with such energy ever since it got raided in that fateful surprise attack.

Upon entering the small village, one would immediately notice the colourful decorations, as well as the banquet in the town center. The sound of upbeat music can be heard louder with each step taken towards the festivities. The townspeople are friendly to outsiders, but watch out, you might get whisked away in an impromptu dance -- traditional Iksay folk dancers are known to swap partners on several occasions mid-song!

[ Slithers his way through the noisy crowd, just taking in the atmosphere for now. He seems to have gotten separated from Agnes upon arrival, but doesn't seem too worried as it's a small town. ]

I wonder if the others made it yet...

[ Somehow already holding two tankards of ale in her hands moments upon arrival. She doesn't seem too concerned how they ended up in her hands, probably because she's a mild alcoholic overwhelmed by the crowd. ]

*Erin is standing away from the dancing crowd, listening to some gleeful farmers boasting their crops to each other. It doesn't take long before they drag the outsiders to their conversation, including Erin*

Well, I can't judge the quality of vegetables as well as farmers do.

*sees Minen already holding the ale and automatically remembers the last incident. Erin walks to her casually, but her eyes are locked at Minen's hands, deciding to watch over Minen's alcohol consumption*

Hi, Minen!

*Mukumuku is already jigging and humming along with the music, seeming to enjoy the festival. It feels more relaxed than the banquet at Budehuc, partly because he doesn't have to sneak around this time.* Mumumumu~

[ Seems oblivious to Erin's concert at first. ]

Erin! You came here, too?

[ Ah, a familiar face! ]

And yet your cooking is nothing but quality... or so I hear!

[ Somehow, Minen hasn't met the caped squirrel up until now. ]

Wh-what is that??

*dances for a few more moment before he's tired and retreats to Minen's side. He sits on the ground, clapping for the dancing humans. Totally oblivious of Minen.* Mu! Mu! Mu!

[ She approaches the creature quietly, with one hand near her holstered weapon. ....Just in case! ]

...D-Don't ignore me!

[captainfluff]

*Still not noticing Minen... until he looks up to Minen's scary face. He jolts back.* M-Mu?!

[innkeeper_erin]

I considered to stay at Budehuc, but there is nothing to do with all of the guests coming here.

Is this your first time outside of Budehuc, too?

Eek~!

[ Mukumuku's sudden response scares her, too, enough to draw her weapon in self-defense. ]

...H-Hey!! You better not try anything funny, got it?!

[belfar_agent]

Not quite, I initially traveled these parts for a few days before finding Budehuc. That seems like such a long time ago... [ Takes a sip out of her tankard. Hey, not bad! ]

[captainfluff]

???? Mu? *Wondering what he did wrong this time. He doesn't steal foods anymore! He raises his hands up in the air just to be safe*

[ Blinks, then slowly lowers her weapon while keeping her focus on the squirrel. ]

i-it's kind of cute.

*slowly lowers his hands, but Mukumuku doesn't look away from Minen.* Mu?

H-Hey, you better not bite anyone, okay? I'll be watching you all night! ♥

...m-mu? o-okay...? He has never bitten anyone so far. Perhaps this human thinks he's like flying squirrels in the wild! Mukumuku shows her his pinky finger to make a promise.

[Is once again hiding from the party by lingering behind some buildings. After all the work he'd spent recently cleaning up his new " office", he needed the break.]

What a delightful atmosphere. Everyone poured in so much effort this year.
