EVENT: Iksay Harvest Festival

The day of the Harvest Festival has fallen upon Iksay, and the atmosphere has never felt more cheery for such an early noon. As one would expect of the traditional festival, extensive preparations have been made, and it's the first time in a long while that anyone has seen Iksay brimming with such energy ever since it got raided in that fateful surprise attack.

Upon entering the small village, one would immediately notice the colourful decorations, as well as the banquet in the town center. The sound of upbeat music can be heard louder with each step taken towards the festivities. The townspeople are friendly to outsiders, but watch out, you might get whisked away in an impromptu dance -- traditional Iksay folk dancers are known to swap partners on several occasions mid-song!

[ She goes a little quiet after mentioning the young knight's name. ]

*Erin notices Minen's silence, but she doesn't make any connection between it and Roberto.* Minen? Are you alright?

[ Finishes her tankard with great ferocity. ] Yeah!

Just-- I don't want to hear about that jerk, so don't bring him up! [ Even though Minen's the one who mentioned his name. ]

O-okay... *doesn't ask to avoid Minen taking more and more booze*

[ She's still ranting! ]

He thinks he's sooo great!! He's nothing but an ungrateful scum, after all I've done for that boy!! I used to think you two would be good for each other, but now I know you can do so much better!!! I'm not letting anyone unworthy approach you anymore, not unless they wish to wake up six feet under!

WINE! [ Snatches a random passerby's tankard and proceeds drinking. ]

* That's really surprised Erin. She quietly apologizes to the person*

Are you two fighting?

I already put that child in his place! We are done, there's no fighting -- just remnants of a lie that I foolishly called "friendship"!! Don't be suckered in by those types, Erin! They're just nice to you as long as they feel dominant!

[innkeeper_erin]

*Erin is visibly confused now, not expecting Minen to blurt out like that!* Wait, wait, w-what happened?

[belfar_agent]

Ugh, it doesn't matter!! Let's dance!

[innkeeper_erin]

Wait-- Oh, well.

*offers her hand* Be gentle with me, ok?

[belfar_agent]

What do you mean? I'm the one who taught you how to dance, so I expect you to keep up! [ Although her words sound harsh, she does quite gently take Erin's hand and leads her to the crowd. ]

[ ...Except that was ballroom dancing, and she doesn't know how to dance like the villagers. ] ...Um.

[innkeeper_erin]

*Awkwardly hooks her arm in Minen's, and then lead Minen to move in round, copying other townsfolk*

[ She's trying to copy the others, too. Luckily dancing doesn't feel hard at all after a few drinks. ]
