EVENT: Birthday Party

The tavern is curiously more crowded than usual tonight. Perhaps it's the recent influx of travelers who have decided to stay at Budehuc, or the fact that it's a certain squire's birthday, but the barkeep hasn't seen such a big crowd since the days of Nadir's plays. Drowned out by the drunken men's laughter and absurd stories, a small band of musicians can also be heard playing near the stage.

I started around eight. Hunting was seven, but knife play was eight when Sgt. Joe started teaching me.

It's a hard life on in the Grasslands. More feral beasts and monsters then in a stone city. Not to mention the troll dragons.

Though technically I was still considered a trainee, though I was nearing the end of my training. I'm supposed to get a sword at some point, to mark the end of my training. But my knife suits me fine.

At least you know who your enemies are outside of a "stone city". The monsters in our cities hide in men's hearts.

How close are you to completing your training?

I'm done actually. After the war mom declared me finished and started training me on how to run the clan. Said becoming the Flame Champion was as good as finishing my training.

If the war hadn't happened, I would have finished my training about a month or so after we first met.

That means you would have been a full-fledged warrior either way by now.
