EVENT: Summer Days

It has been a hot summer for Budehuc this year, and yet there is little to no signs about it coming to an end, even if the next season is expected to show around sometime in the near future.

The warmth of the sun seems to be inviting just about anyone to the lakeside, including the builders and locals from the neighbouring towns of Iksay and Nor. Some have come for the serenity and beautiful scenery, while others just want to have a swim or enjoy some water games. Keep your eyes out for flying beach balls and frisbees!

You're a Harmonian, who was probably raised in much better conditions than what little I remember from before I met Lady Leknaat. And as a Harmonian, you're not someone I feel inclined to like.

[ Sasarai just listens to him. His first instinct is to blame Leknaat for his disdain, but his first statement eats at him. They're exactly the same in terms of purpose. There's no reason he would be raised any differently. ]

What exactly do you remember before she... [ kidnapped you ] ...before you two met?

[He doesn't bother mentioning more than that, eyes firmly fixed on Connie as he continues his petting.]

[ While Sasarai's eyes are fixed on Luc, mostly baffled but also concerned. He doesn't look like he's being anything but earnest, but... ]

That's terrible—That can't be right. [ He tries to think of alternatives to this - Was Luc kidnapped more than once? - but he can't say anything without more information. And given what he'd been lead to believe himself for so long, he's not sure how much more information he'll be able to find.

Finally, he just replies: ] I'm sorry, Luc...

[He could say a lot of things. Most of them insults. Instead, he just scowls at the apology, feeling a mix of emotions with annoyance at the top.]

I don't want sympathy from you.

[ He's pretty sure Luc's being honest there too. ]

I'm not pitying you.

[windbrat]

...You'd better not be.

[ziemia]

I promise you, I'm not.
