[A small boat flying Falenan colors sails into the Budehuc port. Stepping off onto the dock are Lorelai and Shoon with a giant gaudy golden belt over his shoulder and a small amount of his gladiators who hadn't stayed behind to help with the cleanup behind them]

Well it's good to be back on land again. [she gives Shoon wave and makes her way towards the mansion]

[Shoon struts into the center of town with a few of his gladiators and a new stack of posters to replace the old ones that were up before. No longer would this be his show. He would start with a real impact here in the grasslands. He jumps to the lip of the fountain and takes a deep breath]

[Carnival barker Voice]PEOPLE OF BUDEHUC! I know we could all use something positive after the recent Earthquake and so with that no longer is the show here going to be about the talents of the Gladiators of Falena. Our first big event will be [Raises his arms in a flourish and shouts] AN INTERNATIONAL FIGHTING TOURNAMENT!

[Back to his carnival barker voice] That's right! Everyone is invited to join in this tournament of champions! Your heroes from the Grasslands and the Zexen Federation, Falena, Dunan, Gregminster and more! Let the heroes of the world battle for supremacy and to bring cheer to the people of Budehuc! Sign up sheet is on the table next to the newspaper So let the greatest fighters in the world put on the most competitive fighting tournament you will ever witness!

[Jumps down from the fountain and makes his way into the manor]

A little before noon, there's a sudden, violent shaking of the earth, soon resonating with a series of loud cracks as the ground opens up in front of the manor, down the center of the courtyard, and elsewhere on the castle grounds. Although the tremors shake the builds, loosening roof tiles and disturbing the areas of new construction, nothing managed to completely fall.

And just like that, after only a few minutes, the worst of the quake ends and soon subsides to weaker tremors until, finally, it simply stops altogether.

((OOC: Thank you Lila for writing this up! Feel free to RP either during the big quake or the small tremors. If you want to RP your characters reaction after the quakes, it might be better to write up a new post so the order of events don't get mangled up in this post. ))

It has been a hot summer for Budehuc this year, and yet there is little to no signs about it coming to an end, even if the next season is expected to show around sometime in the near future.

The warmth of the sun seems to be inviting just about anyone to the lakeside, including the builders and locals from the neighbouring towns of Iksay and Nor. Some have come for the serenity and beautiful scenery, while others just want to have a swim or enjoy some water games. Keep your eyes out for flying beach balls and frisbees!

[A large caravan rolls up to the clearing outside of town and begins setting up tents. A small group of intimidating looking men and women walk into town and begin putting up flyers with art of men fighting each other for the Falenan Gladitorial Company. The smallest member of the group breaks off and starts walking towards the manor]

Ok, you guys finish up and then head back and finish setting up. I'll finish up up here and meet you back at the camp later.

[He steps into the bar, sits down in the middle of the room and orders a drink]
