EVENT: Land of Eternity

A little before noon, there's a sudden, violent shaking of the earth, soon resonating with a series of loud cracks as the ground opens up in front of the manor, down the center of the courtyard, and elsewhere on the castle grounds. Although the tremors shake the builds, loosening roof tiles and disturbing the areas of new construction, nothing managed to completely fall.

And just like that, after only a few minutes, the worst of the quake ends and soon subsides to weaker tremors until, finally, it simply stops altogether.

((OOC: Thank you Lila for writing this up! Feel free to RP either during the big quake or the small tremors. If you want to RP your characters reaction after the quakes, it might be better to write up a new post so the order of events don't get mangled up in this post. ))

*Erin is urging the remaining guests to evacuate first. After making sure everybody has gotten out, she's running outside, but her step is halted when a piece of roof tile falls right in front of her.* A-Ahhh!

[ Tir had been away from the building, but he spun around again hearing Erin yell. ]

—Hey, come on! [ He reaches out to take her hand and pull her along. ]

[innkeeper_erin]

*She doesn't think much when Tir pulls her, just running along with him. She gasps as she sees the ground opening in the courtyard.* This is terrible...!

[third_liberator]

[ Silence is fine with him, but it isn't long before they're dead in their tracks again with the ground crumbling in the courtyard. He doesn't even want to get close enough to see how deep that chasm will go. ]

I've never seen an earthquake this bad before...

[ He scans the area, but its hard to make any judgment with the chaos of the buildings crumbling and people scrambling.

But they can't really stand there either. ]

Let's get out from here. At least away from any buildings...

[innkeeper_erin]

Yes... *Moves away from the deep fissure as far as possible, trying not to look at it too much. She looks at Tir as she is walking.*

Are you alright?

[third_liberator]

[ He nods. ]

I'm fine... I got out of there pretty quickly.

[ He lets go of her hand now as he starts towards the castle gate. ]
