EVENT: Land of Eternity

A little before noon, there's a sudden, violent shaking of the earth, soon resonating with a series of loud cracks as the ground opens up in front of the manor, down the center of the courtyard, and elsewhere on the castle grounds. Although the tremors shake the builds, loosening roof tiles and disturbing the areas of new construction, nothing managed to completely fall.

And just like that, after only a few minutes, the worst of the quake ends and soon subsides to weaker tremors until, finally, it simply stops altogether.

((OOC: Thank you Lila for writing this up! Feel free to RP either during the big quake or the small tremors. If you want to RP your characters reaction after the quakes, it might be better to write up a new post so the order of events don't get mangled up in this post. ))

[Sitting in his cart when the earthquake struck working on finalizing the script for the nights first show Shoon was jolted into action by the shaking of the ground. The shaking was bad enough that it shook over the stops placed in front of the wheels keeping it from rolling away. The cart started rolling down the slight incline it was on and smashed into one of the gladiator tents before finally stopping. Shoon jumped out and began frantically freeing the few Gladiators who were inside the tent when the quake hit and organized them into a search party. With a quick look he surveyed the damage done. 4 more of the housing tents had collapsed in the quake.]

Ok guys tent by tent, make sure everyone is out. Meet up in the main tent in 30 minutes for a headcount!

[ Scurrying around the castle grounds, making notes and trying to keep a headcount herself. ]

Mister Shoon! I'm glad you're okay!

[gladiatorfist]

I am. I just need to make sure my people are. Did you see any of my gladiators in town when this hit?

I don't think so. I was hiding under a blanket when the big one hit.

[gladiatorfist]

[Still frantically helping people out of the collapsed tents]

That wasn't like any earthquake I've ever felt. I need to make sure no one is hurt.

It looks like everyone managed to come out unscathed so far! There are still some residents unaccounted for... ohh, I hope everyone at the inn is fine...

[gladiatorfist]

I hope everyone is fine. Do we have a medic in town for injuries if we have any here?

[Shoon Shouts at another group of Gladiators]

Keep clearing the collapsed tents! Make sure everyone is ok!

[miss_matchmaker]

[ Flinches at the sudden shout, then continues answering. ]

W-Well, Miss Agnes occasionally helps out at the infirmary! It looks like she's gonna be pretty busy in the coming weeks. I have experience finding cheap doctors, though!

Thanks for that.

[He turns back to the tents and shouts again]
